SYSTEM OPERATION

  • 1. ASSIGN DELAY

    The delay assigned to an EHD can either be pre-programmed, assigned through use of the HDL-1 or not provided at all.

  • 2. CONNECT

    Connect the EHDs to the blasting circuit of the HCB-1, which will  detect, identify and program all connected  EHDs.  Unassigned  EHDs  will  be programmed with a standard delay.

  • 3. VERIFY

    Compare all connected EHDs to the blasting file sent to the HCB-1 via the HDL-1. Ensures that all EHDs that are supposed to be connected, are in fact connected.

  • 4. INITIATE

    Initiate blast from Central Control Room.
